Military Appreciation Week
In light of military appreciation week, I am so happy that my boyfriend was able to come home and spend some quality time. After several attempts to visit Jerseys own Cake Boss, I was finally able to go this weekend. We stood in line for about and hour and a half and trust me I was not disappointed. We finally get into the bakery nd wait for our number to be called, number 779 to be exact. While I was waiting in like I was thinking of all the sweet treats that I wanted to get and could not make up my mind. I ended up get a few red velvet cupcakes and carrott cake cupcakes mmmhhmm good. I was so happy that I got to visit the cake boss with my boyfriend. It was exciting to see how many people actually were standing in line to get into the bakery. We even filmed ourselves while we waited in line and as the line progressed. Once we made it to the register, my boyfriend mentions to "Cake Boss" sister that they watch the show on the military base and she says "we love the military, and we support you guys" she goes on to say"next time you are home please do not wait in line ask for me and you will not have to wait". How freaking cool is that? I wish we would have known that before we stood in the cold. The day turned out well the cupcake was amazing. I plan to eat a red velvet one tonight.

Aww, I'm happy you were able to see your boyfriend--it sounds like you guys had a great time together! I would loveee to go to Carlo's Bakery, I love the Cake Boss and I can definitely understand how it was worth the wait. And wow, that's so crazy and awesome about the conversation with your boyfriend and the Cake Boss's sister--and it's definitely a perfect excuse to go back first thing the next time he comes home! :)
